Hi Boys and Girls,
I am so glad you are in my first grade class! I have had a great summer and I can not wait to hear about some of the super fun adventures you had.
We are going to have a great year. I love science and I took a class at Fermilab this summer with Ms. Steimel. We learned all kinds of cool science things to teach kids about! Reading, writing and math will be awesome parts of our days together as well, but I am currently psyched about phriendly physics:)
One of my goals this year is to become smarter about all the technology I can use to make learning even more fun and find better ways to share what we do in the classroom with your parents, like this blog!
On the first day of school bring a favorite book to recommend to the class and a snack to eat (something healthy, please). I know little bellies get hungry quickly. Can't wait to get to know you.
